Much to my dismay, Film Noir has yet to make what one would call a major cinematic comeback, and we’re long since the days when when hard-boiled detectives ruled the screen. But perhaps that’s what makes it all the more exciting when a new entry into the once thriving genre pops up, even more so when it’s a movie as peculiar as The Perfect Sleep.
