Decided to dig through my collection for another “golden oldie”, and this time I came up with the defunct British band Battle. Of all the post-punk rock outfits that cropped up on the heels of Bloc Party, Battle are quite possibly the most criminally unappreciated, and by my money, one of the best. On top of that, they were nothing if not prolific, releasing a steady stream of singles and an EP during their career, before culminating in what would turn out to be both their debut and farewell album, Break the Banks, in 2007
