It’s hardly a surprise anymore when Steven Soderbergh takes a break from blockbuster film-making to craft an intimate little arthouse picture, but I highly doubt anyone was betting on him ever casting an adult-film star in one of them. And while much hubbub has already been made about seasoned porn pro (that’s putting it nicely) Sasha Grey featuring in The Girlfriend Experience, it’s safe to say the newly released trailer won’t be settling any arguments about her acting abilities (or lack thereof).

Strangely enough, one of 2009′s additions to the fold, Agora, comes from the mind of writer/director Alejandro AmenĂ¡bar, the man who introduced himself to America with the smart and classy ghost story The Others (yes, ghost stories can be both smart and classy, damn it!).
