Them:Youth are another group that featured on my best-of list for last year, with their hypnotic brit-pop single Bow & Arrows. Now they’re back with a brand new track, and once again they’re conjuring up some sweet memories of the 1980s, even as the band begins to tone down the New Order and create a sound that feels even more like an entirely unique beast. With singles as strong as these, I can only imagine how much ass will be kicked by their inevitable debut album. In the meantime, Fever Rising should have the internet hype machine going at full tilt (I know I am doing my part at least).
