Yes, It’s the Grand Theft Auto IV Trailer
Rockstar’s countdown to the Grand Theft Auto IV trailer has finally hit zero, and almost instantly their site crashed from all of the traffic. Suffice it to say, people love their GTA, and there’s a good reason for that. These are the guys that put sandbox style games on the map, and while the last one left me somewhat underwhelmed, part IV looks like it may be worthy of all the hype. Sorry San Andreas, but I’ll take the Russian mafia over ghetto thugs any day. Don’t worry, there are still plenty of people that love your tricked out low riders and gangsta rap (Hi, Paul!), but I prefer me some thick accents, fur hats, and the sexy smell of vodka.
Alright, get to checking out the trailer, for a brief glimpse at one of this year’s biggest releases. Anyone that’s played a previous GTA is going to immediately notice a huge jump in quality as far as the visuals go. It’s still not the prettiest series going, but considering how much real estate Rockstar gives us to run around in, it’s a damn impressive engine. Now if we could only see some gameplay.
Welcome back, Liberty City. (Trailer courtesy of TeamXbox)
