If you’ve seen Matthew Vaughn’s directorial debut, the fun, Guy Ritchie-esque, Layer Cake, chances are you wouldn’t have guessed his follow up would be a subdued, adult friendly fairy tale. But surprisingly enough, Vaughn is trading in gun fights for witchcraft with his forthcoming adaptation of the graphic novel (turned regular old novel), Stardust, which looks like it’s set to do Gaiman’s adventure great justice. Plus, it stars Ricky Gervais, the man who can make even Microsoft training videos hilarious.
